FOREST OF DEAN ATHLETIC CLUB
CHRISTMAS FOREST 5 2006 - SUNDAY 17th December

A combination of brilliant winter's sunshine, a challenging undulating course , and the first class facilities of Ellwood Football Club resulted in a successful Run.

A number of the junior FoDAC runners entered the race, either compressively, or for experience and a number of them featured strongly in the bid for the prizes.
As is traditional with this run, numerous spot prizes were awarded.

The ladies' race was won by North Devonian Eloise Pittwood (SL) in 33 min 0 s.
She was chased home by Sarah Heath (LV35) in 34.57 and FoDAC U20 runner Alison Drew (35.47), Lorna Shaw (LV45) 36.41 and LV45 Joyce Barrus representing FoDAC in 39.19.

The men's race was a battle between FoDAC runners and the Cheltenham Tri Club.
FoDAC U20 Richard de Camps made it to finishing line first in 30.47 followed by Wayne Bevan (SM) FoDAC 30.54, Oliver Taylor (Cheltenham Tri Club) 31.33, Steve Cunliffe MV50 (FoDAC) 31.45 who just pipped FoDAC's Andrew de Camps (an International 800 m runner) into fifth place in 31.55.
